Fast and Fluid Figures: Watercolor Shadows. In this workshop students will explore painting the live model using monochromatic watercolor in order to quickly capture light and form. Particular attention will be given to mark making, edge control, brush control. The length of the poses will be from 30 seconds to 20 minutes. All levels from beginners to advanced are welcome. There will be one full-day workshop on May 20th, followed by a three-day morning workshop from May 21-23rd.
Painting the Essential Still Life in Watercolor. This workshop is a plunge into painting watercolors of seasonal fruits and vegetables. Explore the finer details of nature through wet washes and color, light, form. All levels from beginners to advanced are welcome. There will be one full day workshop on May 19th, followed a three-day afternoon workshop from May 21-23rd.
